White Americans be like "I'm an individual! I do what I want!*"

*Only where and when the authorities, social peer groups, and value systems tell you to do what they want you to do when and where they want you to

US concepts of individualism make a lot more sense when you analyze them through the lens of collectivism and passivity in individual terms.

The domesticated US person is an individual in terms of how they perceive they're position in the market, labor pool, and life issues/direction, but they're existence is really based on a collective mechanism that settler capitalism requires to run.

Collective passive individualism also means most USians are fuckin helpless wimps who are all talk no bite lol
